The University received a donation of HK$5 million from the Koo’s Giving Charitable Foundation, which will support the establishment and implementation of “School Aspire – Unveiling the Potential of High-Functioning ASD Students for Academic Advancement and Vocational Development”. The donation will enable a 4-year programme aimed at providing effective academic and professional support to K3 to S6 students with ASD, their parents, teachers and related professionals. The initiative is also designed to transfer knowledge to reach broader beneficiaries while creating internship opportunities for people with ASD through their participation in development and implementation.
