Introduction
The past two decades have witnessed the evolution of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK*) from a major teacher education institution into a university that is education-focused, multi-disciplinary and research driven. Following up on this progress, we have formed The Education University of Hong Kong Foundation (The EdUHK Foundation) to broaden the University's support base for developing itself into a highly preferred institution of higher education.
Foundation Objectives
Formally established in December 2014, The Education University of Hong Kong Foundation* is a high-level organisation unit under the Council of the University with a view to:

garnering goodwill, gathering supporters, and recognising major contributors to the University;

strengthening the University's fundraising capabilities;

extending the supporting network for strategic and sustained development of the University;

promoting and advancing the academic, educational and intercultural activities of the University.

We warmly welcome continued support and contribution from our donors. Resources contributed to The EdUHK Foundation can either be designated for general purposes to flourish academic development, research, student development and institutional advancement or be allocated for other specific areas of study or discipline. The University will strive to stay at the forefront of education and research, and the generous support received through efforts of The EdUHK Foundation will set the stage for future endeavours.
