The University received a donation of HK$6 million from the donor Hainan Chengxi Investment Co. Ltd. In which 50% of the donation will be used to support the AI, Brain and Child Research Centre (ABCRC) under the Academy of Education Development and Innovation (AEDI). The donation supports the establishment of management and research teams, to launch master’s programs in educational neuroscience and other related training, research and academic exchanges and to establish a brand new English academic journal, “AI, Brain and Child”. The remaining 50% will be contributed to the pool of The EdUHK Foundation to support the development of the AEDI.
